The surf excel advertisement brings back the memories of childhood when during the Holi months while donning the white kurta pajama and proceeding towards the mosque one wished that no one should throw the coloured balloon or else the fellow will become NAPAK ( unclean) because of the colors.

So one school of thought thinks that colors are HARAM and should not touch the body. There are many followers of that school.

It is the same followers who are worried that how will they vote during elections as they must get inked before voting which is HARAM specially when it is the month of RAMZAAN ( as an Indian Urdu lover prefer RAMZAAN over RAMADAN as the Arabs don't have the luxury of Z).

In RAMZAAN everyone becomes a saint for a month just like NAVRATRI fast observing fellows.

So someone who agrees with the ink hysteria must not vote anyhow because democracy in any case has not been much advocated in islam.

" Allah is most knowing of how long they remained. He has [knowledge of] the unseen [aspects] of the heavens and the earth. How Seeing is He and how Hearing! They have not besides Him any protector, and He shares not His legislation with anyone." Sura Al Kahf 18:26 (Qur'an)

It clearly says that legislative power rests with Allah and hence why should one chose legislatures for Indian government.

So, EC should not waste any time in changing the election dates. Those who want to vote and believe in Democracy they will vote. Those who don't, may Allah be with them.

Surf Excel advertisement portrays the same image of Muslims on screen of Topi wearing, Kurta Pajama guy with Surma in eyes. I am sure they never meet real Muslims who wear T Shirts, Pants etc.

They also play with the religious minority image and give preference to that image over a more common one.

Then there are bhakts whose sentiments have been hurt by the Surf excel ad so much so that they are against Ms Excel too. Bill Gates must be a really worried person now.

The sentiments must be hurt by three points

1. Why should the Hindu girl support the Muslim kid and become a future prospect for alleged Love Jihad ?

2. Why should the essentially religious festival be stopped for a moment for the Muslim kid for his religious act of Namaz?

3. How come a spray of color can do any harm ?

Inter religion and inter caste marriage is the only cure for this bigotry. India needs
them so much.

The hurt sentiments fellows are the same guys who will not let the menstruating women sit in any pooja or allow them in a temple.

The concept of Shudhi or PAK or purity is the very basis of religion and that's where more debate is needed.

Till then one should wash their dirty linen with Surf excel.
